How to feel SAFE within when everything is chaotic (inner child healing) 🙏

Let's talk about how to feel safe within yourself when everything around you is chaotic. Now this is a big subject for us to approach on our journey healing from generational and ancestral trauma and that's because historically speaking, we have never been safe. We were born into the darkness, so to speak, and we just don't know what it feels like to embody these frequencies of safety in our daily lives.

Now what I'm not going to do in this transmission is give you steps to regulate your nervous system. I want to go a little bit deeper and get at the root of the problem so that we don't have to fall back on regulating our nervous system in the first place.

We want to innerstand that this feeling of being unsafe is actually our most wounded inner child getting activated.

Now this wounded inner child is our pain body. We actually have many inner children and some of them carry the frequencies of anger. Some of them carry the frequencies of shame or anxiety but the root of it all, the core of our unhealed parts is this wounded inner child. This is the part of us that experienced the actual blows of our trauma.

This is the part of us that carries our grief, our despair, our actual pain. And it's like, "Hello do you see me? Do you see what I am carrying for you? Are you aware of this pain of this grief that is deep inside?"

So it's only in the moments where we feel unsafe that all of this comes up, right? We get a trigger from the outside world and we think the problem is out there but it's actually deep within. And the way that we resolve this feeling of being unsafe is by turning towards our pain and just loving it, just being present with it, and allowing ourselves to actually admit how bad or how scared or how dismayed we really feel in that moment. This is the process of alchemy.

When we meet ourselves in our pain, when we merge with our most wounded inner child, we don't increase our pain. It's actually the opposite. We neutralize it because we have met it with presence and consciousness and compassion.

So we become the container for our own emotional storm, not in the sense that we are suppressing it, but in the sense that we can handle it. We become safe with ourselves when we can handle our own emotional storms. This means that we can handle whatever comes at us, not because it's fun or you know we really want to stay in the darkness, but because we are conscious with every part of ourselves, and most importantly, with this wounded inner child that is carrying our grief and our pain.

There is a secondary benefit here that I really want to get to and that is that when we turn towards ourself and we allow ourselves to express what we're feeling in the moment, we're actually able to identify the narrative that we've been carrying subconsciously.

We're able to identify the story because if we just allow ourselves to be in it instead of kind of being afraid of it, and we let it out within a safe container, and that is our consciousness, the safe container is us witnessing ourselves having the emotional meltdown, we're able to identify the narrative, the story.

Like, "Oh all this time I've been carrying this story that I'm destined to be homeless or that I'm cursed and I will die sick and alone." These are the narratives of the wounded inner child who was truly victimized by our original traumas.

And this wounded inner child is carrying these narratives and these narratives are controlling our lives until we turn towards ourselves, comfort ourselves in our own pain by simply being present with it, and allowing it to express.

And in the expression of the pain, in the discharge of these energies, we become conscious of the stories, the stories we've been carrying, the stories that make us recreate our traumas in our everyday lives.

And then we have these recreated traumas affecting us and we think, "Oh my goodness I'm not safe, it must be my circumstances," and it's not. It is this whole process of dragging the past forward because we never really meet ourselves at our own depths.

Now I know that this is going to sound scary for a lot of you because you're afraid of falling down the rabbit hole of your own subconscious mind. But allow me to remind you that this is a process of conscious inner work.

We're not ruminating on the story subconsciously. We're not letting it take over us. We are remaining in our witness consciousness and we are being guided through this process of meeting ourselves in our pain.

So it's quite the opposite from falling down the rabbit hole. It is actually becoming conscious of the subconscious mind and alchemizing these trapped energies and meeting ourselves where we're at.

This is how we become safe within ourselves no matter what the circumstances are in our daily lives and this is how we become emotionally resilient.

So this whole process naturally regulates our nervous system. We don't need 10 steps or different tools. Now those things are wonderful. I'm not saying not to use them. Absolutely they should be in your toolkit. But when you do this process of emotional alchemy you become safe within yourself even if you're still struggling in your life. And going further it allows you to approach your life more effectively because you're no longer dragging the past forward.

So the shadow work is what alchemizes everything, what builds emotional resilience, what makes you safe internally, and also what allows you to actually progress in your physical life because you are conscious of what has been subconscious.

And you can choose, my friends, you can choose not to identify with the narrative of your wounded inner child. But you can't make that choice until you become aware of what that narrative is.

Normally it's going to be quiet... subtly driving you through. But in those moments when you're feeling unsafe and instead of running you choose to go within and meet yourself there and alchemize everything and allow this subconscious narrative to get really loud so that you can see it for what it is... You realize, "This is a story. This doesn't have to be my life. I don't have to carry this through."

There is no mandate for you to be destitute or sick or broke or shamed or any of the things. There is no curse. There is no mandate.

So the more you merge with your inner children and with the pain body and understand what's really going on under the hood, the more effectively you're able to navigate your life in the physical world.

Okay, I'm gonna leave it there. If this transmission resonated give it a like, a follow, subscribe, drop a comment. Let me know what you're thinking. And I will see you in the next one. Bye.
